The Nigeria Safety and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Bauchi State Command, has arrested 5 suspects concerned in varied crimes, together with oil pipeline vandalism, theft, rape, and felony misappropriation.
Parading the suspects on the Command Headquarters yesterday, Commandant Oloyede Nelson Oyerinde briefed journalists on the arrests, stating that they had been apprehended at completely different places throughout the state.

Moreover, on March 4, 2025, Samaila Emmanuel (22) from Wunti, Bauchi, was arrested for siphoning diesel from a 150kVA Mikano generator meant for powering avenue lights.
Commandant Oyerinde reaffirmed the NSCDC’s dedication to defending public infrastructure and warned criminals to desist from unlawful actions or face authorized penalties.
