A former Chairman of the Nationwide Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Bauchi State Department, Umar Lauya, has declared his intention to contest for the place of Nationwide President of the Council, promising to position youth empowerment, innovation, and unity on the core of his agenda.
Talking on the declaration occasion, a former member of the Home of Representatives, Hon. Baba Iyali described Lauya as “a disciplined and upright chief” who has “displayed management traits at a number of factors in life.”
He praised Lauya’s previous efficiency as youth chief, noting that “he did remarkably effectively when he was the chairman of NYCN, Bauchi Department.”
Studying his declaration, Lauya emphasised that his candidacy was rooted in a transparent objective, pledging to equip Nigerian youths with abilities, foster improvements, and drive job creation.
