“I couldn’t eat for per week” – Eniola Ajao speaks out on battle with faux information

Widespread Yoruba actress and filmmaker, Eniola Ajao opens up concerning the extreme emotional toll that on-line faux information took on her, practically pushing her to self-harm.

In a candid interview on Nollywood on Radio, Ajao shared how hurtful rumours on social media led to a private disaster, affecting each her psychological well being and social life.

“I virtually poisoned myself due to information about me on social media that was removed from true. It was the primary time in my life to confronted one thing so painful that I couldn’t eat for seven days. I didn’t go anyplace. Folks round me can testify to it,” she revealed.

The influence was so profound that Ajao withdrew fully, unable to eat for seven days or interact in any social actions.

“My sisters have been calling, telling me, ‘You must do that for your self. You don’t need to poison your self.’ My son was reaching out to everybody that I used to be fighting the net lies,” she added.
