The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the African Motion Congress (AAC) in Zamfara State suffered setbacks over the weekend as their prime members dumped them for the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The defectors have been obtained by the APC management within the state at a floor event held on Saturday in Zamfara State.
Among the many decampees are the previous governorship candidate of the AAC within the 2023 election, Muhammad Kabir Sani and the Discussion board of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Former State Home of Meeting Candidates.
The decampees and their loyalists joined the APC by means of the Jajiyya Political Motion in Zamfara State underneath the State APC chairman, Alhaji Isiyaka Ajiya Anka.
The decampees declared their allegiance to APC after a gathering attended by Hon Dr Aminu Sani Jaji.
Jaji, who’s chairman, Home Committee on Ecological Fund, recommended the decampees for becoming a member of the APC by means of the Jajiyya Political Motion.
