A bunch of Celestial Church choir members has sparked combined reactions after a video of them freestyling to Burna Boy’s viral music, ‘Lambo’, surfaced on the web.
The freestyle comes weeks after Burna Boy discovered himself in controversy for allegedly failing to fulfil a promise of gifting a Lamborghini to an influencer he was concerned with. Following the backlash, the Afrobeat star carried out an impromptu Lambo freestyle on a Kenyan music present, which shortly gained traction.
Within the now-viral video, the Celestial Church members may be seen adapting their model of the music, mixing it with their worship fashion.
Nevertheless, this act has stirred debate, with some criticizing the fusion of secular music with non secular worship, whereas others see it as a inventive expression.
Reacting to the video, @GreatMindsComm expressed concern, saying, “I don’t know why issues like this at the moment are being launched in Nigerian church buildings.”
One other person, @benkleph, strongly disapproved, stating, “That is the worst video I’ve seen. You can not embody gentle and darkness in the identical vessel.”
