FG disburses N2.25 billion to 16,696 MSMEs in Gombe  

The Bank of Industry (BoI), on behalf of the Federal Authorities, has disbursed N2.25 billion to assist 16,696 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Gombe State, as a part of the continued implementation of the N200 billion Federal Authorities Mortgage Scheme for MSMEs and manufacturing enterprises.

“Out of this, over 16,696 beneficiaries, valued at N2.25 billion, are from Gombe State,” he added. 

Olusi described the mortgage initiative as a landmark intervention and a strategic funding in Nigeria’s {economic} future.

He defined that the aim is to unlock the potential of Nigeria’s enterprise sector, notably the MSME phase, which he stated constitutes 96% of all Nigerian companies, accounts for 84% of complete employment, and contributes almost 50% to the nation’s GDP.
