APC Suspends Ex-Lawmaker, 9 Party Officers In Kebbi

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State has suspended a former Home of Representatives member, who represented Koko/Maiyama Federal Constituency of the State within the Home, Muhammad Shehu Koko, together with 9 key social gathering officers in Koko Native Authorities Space, from the social gathering.

Amongst these suspended are the APC Vice chairman in Koko LGA, Muhammad Danyado; Secretary, Biyaminu Muhammad, and Girls Chief, Talatu Zauro. Others included the Youth Chief, {Financial} Secretary, Welfare Secretary, and several other different officers.

In line with Channel Tv, the suspension detailed in a letter, cited alleged anti-party actions, disloyalty, and harassment of social gathering executives as the explanations for the disciplinary motion. The letter was signed by APC chairman in Koko LGA, Muhammad Maibarga, LGA Govt Chairman Sirajo Usman Koko, and 14 different stakeholders.

Whereas shut allies of the previous lawmaker declined to talk formally, they advised the transfer could also be related to his reported ambition to contest for a senatorial seat in 2027, an aspiration mentioned to have prompted unease amongst some APC leaders within the state.
