Mrs. Cordelia Okonye, the mom of late Augusta Onuwabhagbe, mourns her daughter 22 months after her demise.
It could be recalled that Augusta’s boyfriend, Benjamin Finest a.ok.a Killaboi had confessed in 2023 to killing her.
Regardless of his confession, Killaboi fled Nigeria. He was later arrested in Sierra Leone in October 2023.
In April 2025, Nigerian authorities, in collaboration with INTERPOL and Qatari officers, efficiently extradited Killaboi again to Nigeria to face homicide costs.
Augusta’s mom mourned her demise, noting that her boyfriend should be part of her within the afterlife.
