The Unbiased Nationwide Electoral Fee (INEC) has lastly unveiled names of political events and their candidates cleared to contest the November 8, 2025 Anambra State governorship election.
In keeping with the record pasted on the entrance gate of the electoral umpire’s Anambra state headquarters in Awka a complete of 15 political events with names of their respective governorship and deputy -governorship candidates have been cleared by the fee.
The names of the political events and their candidates cited by LEADERSHIP as pasted on the doorway gate of the fee on Monday have been the Accord Party (A) (Onyeze Chidi Charles/Izuaka Uju Rosemary); Motion Alliance Party (AA) (Nweke Ezechukwu Japheth/Obi Elvis Anayochukwu Livinus); African Motion Congress (AAC) (Ifemuludike Chioma Grace/ Igboanugo Udoji Friday); All Progressives Congress (APC) (Ukachukwu Nicolas Chukwujekwu/Ekwunife Uche Lilian); All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) (Soludo Chukwuma/ Ibezim Onyekachukwu Gilbert); Allied Peoples Motion (APM) (Otti Cyprian Echezona/Ezeigwe Chuka Samuel) and Motion Peoples Party (APP) (Nweke Christopher Chukwudubem/ Okeke Blessing Ebele) and Boot Party (BP) which additionally Okeke Chuka Jerry and Ugboma Happiness as governorship and deputy governorship candidates respectively.
Different political events and names of their governorship and deputy governorship candidates have been the Labour Party (LP) (Muoghalu George Nnadubem/ Okoye Chiedozie Alex); New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) (Onyejegbu Geoffrey/ Agbanusi Ugochukwu Godson); Nationwide Rescue Motion (NRM) (Ndidi Christy Olieh/ Egbe Ekene Reginald); Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) (Ezenwafor Jude/ Obianyo Patrick).
Social Democratic Party (SDP) (Chukwurah Vincent/Osita Atueyi Vanatius); Younger Progressives Party (YPP) (Sir Paul Chukwuma/Okagbue Uzuegbunam Izuchukwu) and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) which governorship and deputy governorship candidates have been Ugwoji Uchenna Martin and Obi Chibuzo Religion as governorship and deputy governorship candidates respectively.
A senior workers member of the INEC informed LEADERSHIP that the record of the accepted political events and their candidates was transmitted by the nationwide headquarters of the fee to the state headquarters on Friday night.
“We solely pasted it this morning (Monday) as a result of as we speak is the primary official working day since we obtained it. We’ve closed work on Friday when the record arrived”, the INEC prime official acknowledged.
