The 2027 Nationwide (opposition) Coalition has described as deceptive and false, stories which claimed that it adopted the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as a political platform.

A key member of the Coalition and former Nationwide Vice Chairman (North-West) of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Salihu Lukman, who acknowledged this on Thursday, additionally dismissed a media report that he had been appointed to go the secretariat of the coalition.

Lukman urged members of the general public to ignore the story as it’s fully false, including that no such choice has been taken.

He acknowledged that when negotiation is concluded, formal bulletins shall be made by the leaders of the coalition.

Reacting to a report that he was appointed to go the secretariat of the coalition, he stated “The general public ought to disregard the story as it’s fully false. No such choice has been taken.”

He added, “Additionally false is the report that the coalition has adopted the ADC at its assembly of Tuesday, Could 20, 2025.
