The Nigeria Police Drive has commenced investigation into the explosion that rocked the outskirt of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) alongside the Mararaba-Nyanya Bypass, on Monday.
Confirming the incident, the FCT police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, stated the Police command obtained a misery report on Could 26, 2025 at roughly 2:50pm, concerning an explosion alongside the bypass.
“Upon receipt of the report, officers of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Unit had been instantly deployed to the scene. The affected space was swiftly cordoned off for clearance and evaluation to make sure the protection of commuters and residents,” SP Adeh stated.
