This was disclosed by the Lagos Commissioner for Surroundings and Water Sources, Tokunbo Wahab, in an announcement posted on his official X (previously Twitter) account on Tuesday.
The Lagos State Environmental Safety Company (LASEPA) investigated and confirmed the infractions, which threatened public well being and environmental security. LASEPA subsequently shut down the power to implement laws.
