The Chairman of Entry Holdings, Mr. Aigboje Aig-Imoukhuede, has been named a member of the Federal Authorities’s Nationwide AI Belief, a physique established to speed up the event of Synthetic Intelligence (AI) in Nigeria.
The Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economic system, Dr. Bosun Tijani, introduced on Wednesday that Aig-Imoukhuede has accepted to affix the crew.
The Federal Govt Council (FEC) authorized the institution of the AI Belief in February this yr.

Nigeria’s AI drive gaining momentum
The announcement of Aig-Imoukhuede as a key member of the Nationwide AI Belief follows Tuesday’s signing of settlement with the Gates Foundation to ascertain the Nigerian AI Scaling Hub with $7.5 million in funding and experience from the Foundation.
The AI Scaling Hub initiative is anticipated to advance the federal government’s efforts to determine, develop, and scale high-impact AI options that tackle innovation in these key sectors, in addition to place Nigeria as an exemplar for rising applied sciences in Africa.
