PICTORIAL: Gov Eno Visits Akpabio With 8 Govs, Others After Defection To APC

Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Umo Eno, has visited the Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, on the latter’s personal residence in Uyo, the State capital, after the announcement of his (Eno) defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Friday.

This was disclosed by Akpabio, who took to his verified Fb web page to announce the event shortly after the go to. The Senate President described Eno’s determination as ‘historic’ whilst he welcomed the governor to the ruling APC.

“It’s with utmost pleasure that I acquired our governor, Pastor Umo Eno PhD, his deputy, Akon Eyakenyi, All Progressives Congress Governors led by the chairman of the Discussion board, Hope Uzodimma and different stakeholders of our get together, at my residence in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, after the historic defection of my brother, Governor Eno, members of the State Govt Council, Federal and State lawmakers, in addition to council chairmen into the Progressives’ household.
