A complete of 13 (13) individuals had been on Tuesday evening killed by gunmen suspected to be bandits in Mariga native authorities space of Niger State.
LEADERSHIP learnt that the killings came about at Magoro, Kumbashi and Bangi, the headquarters of the native authorities space.
Amongst these killed had been three native vigilantes and a policeman, who had been stationed at varied components of the realm.
The bandits reportedly stormed the communities on 150 bikes with subtle weapons, taking the villagers abruptly and firing sporadically throughout which 13 residents had been killed whereas scores others had been injured within the assault.
Chairman of Mariga native authorities space, Alhaji Abbas Kasuwa Garba confirmed the assault.
Garba, who stated he couldn’t affirm the precise variety of casualties, disclosed that the realm has been thrown into severe stress as bandits had been going from one group to a different to unleash terror.
