Tragedy has struck the music trade following the passing of Connie Francis, a legendary American singer identified for her viral hit ‘Fairly Little Child’.
In line with studies, she handed away at 87 on July 16, 2025, after being hospitalized for a pelvic fracture, which led to pneumonia.
Notably, Francis was a pop sensation within the Fifties and Sixties, with 35 High 40 hits, together with ‘Who’s Sorry Now’, ‘Silly Cupid’, and ‘Everyone’s Any individual’s Idiot’.
She started acting at age 4, singing and enjoying the accordion, and signed with MGM Data in 1955.
In the meantime, her passing has sparked an outpouring of tributes and condolences from followers and trade colleagues.
