The 2023 governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adamawa State, Senator Aishatu Dahiru Ahmed, popularly referred to as Binani, has resigned her membership from the get together.
Binani’s resignation, efficient from July 19, 2025 was contained in a letter she tendered to the Mbamoi Ward get together chairman of APC in Yola South native authorities space of the state.
“I write to formally notify you of my determination to resign my membership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Party efficient instantly as from at present.
“I thank the get together so immensely for all the chance it supplied me to serve our Ward, Native Authorities, Adamawa Central (Senatorial) Constituency and certainly, Adamawa State as a complete, because the get together’s Senator 2019-2023, flag bearer within the 2023 governorship elections,” the letter learn.
The previous APC chieftain added that she parted methods with the get together because of what she described as betrayals and anti-party actions.
“Sadly, our methods needed to half because of betrayals, anti-party actions throughout and submit 2023 elections.
“However extra not too long ago undemocratic antics and lack of inner democracy within the get together,” she alleged.
