Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Sunday, swore within the newly elected chairmen of the 20 Native Authorities Areas and 37 Native Council Improvement Areas (LCDAs), alongside their deputies.
Sanwo-Olu, on the well-attended occasion held on the Lagos Home, Ikeja, Alausa, charged the chairmen to see their election as alternative to serve the individuals and deepen improvement on the native authorities by delivering dividends of democracy.
As of 12:30pm, the elected chairmen signed their oaths of workplace earlier than the mammoth friends.
Recall that Lagos State Unbiased Electoral Fee, LASIEC, led by Justice Bola Okikiolu-Ighile, had earlier offered Certificates of Return to the elected Chairmen and councillors who emerged winners within the July 12, 2025 native authorities polls within the state.
