The Benue State Police Command has rescued the Regulation college students who have been kidnapped within the state on the Saturday, twenty sixth of July, 2025.
Our correspondent gathered that the kidnapped Regulation college students have been touring to the Adamawa State Campus of Nigerian Regulation School once they have been kidnapped on the boundary between Benue and Taraba States.
Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) within the state, Udeme Edet disclosed this in a press release on Friday.
“Please be told that the police have efficiently rescued six legislation college students of Yola Campus who have been kidnapped on the twenty sixth of July 2025 whereas touring from Anambra to Adamawa State,” the assertion mentioned.
In response to the PPRO “They (Regulation college students) have been safely launched and united with their households this (Friday) morning, 1st August 2025.”
Nationwide President of the Nigerian Bar Affiliation (NBA), Afam Osigwe, introduced the kidnapping of the six legislation college students on the NBA’s North-Central regional safety summit held in Makurdi on July 28 whereas additionally lamented the escalating safety threats in the area.
