Jonathan Is PDP’s Finest Wager For 2027 — Lamido

Former Jigawa State governor and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart, Sule Lamido, has declared ex-President Goodluck Jonathan because the opposition celebration’s strongest contender for the 2027 presidential election, urging the PDP management to actively woo him again to the celebration.

Lamido, talking on Channels Tv’s ‘Politics In the present day’ on Friday evening, described Jonathan as probably the most certified and electable candidate the PDP may current, arguing that no present celebration member from the South may match his credentials.

The previous governor made a passionate case for Jonathan’s return, stating, “I feel for PDP now they need to attempt to woo him; he’s their greatest guess. To me, he’s their greatest guess. Anyone put forth by the PDP, Nigerians will help him.”

He emphasised Jonathan’s distinctive benefits, together with his presidential expertise, governance experience, and skill to construct consensus.

“He’s most welcomed, competent and really certified. To me, I welcome him into the PDP. I feel to this point within the PDP, with due respect to all members, I don’t see a greater different than Jonathan if he involves the PDP,” he said.

When requested about potential options from the South, Lamido was categorical, “I don’t see some other particular person, actually. If we’re giving the presidency to the South, it is going to be the PDP.

“Who’s there in PDP now that may problem Jonathan by way of being in workplace, being full-headed, being any individual who’s prepared to pay attention, and any individual who can also be a key participant who believes in partnership?”
