The All Progressives Congress (APC) has disowned the Timetable and Schedule of Actions for the conduct of its Ward, Native Authorities and State congresses in circulation.
The doc titled; “Draft APC 2025 Schedule of Nationwide Congresses and Associated Actions” which has gone viral, stated the ward and native authorities congresses have been scheduled for December 10 and 12, 2025, respectively, and to be adopted by state and zonal congresses, culminating into Nationwide Conference slated for between March 25 and 28, 2026.
However, APC, in a terse assertion signed by its Nationwide Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, in Abuja on Sunday, dismissed the discover, describing it as pretend information.
“The eye of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been drawn to “APC 2025 SCHEDULE OF NATIONWIDE CONGRESSES AND RELATED ACTIVITIES” extensively in circulation on social media.
“Our nice Party needs to make clear that the purported Schedule of Actions for Congresses was neither made nor approved by the Party, and needs to be disregarded as FAKE NEWS,” the assertion said.
LEADERSHIP experiences that APC carried out its final Ward, Native Authorities, and State Congresses in 2021, whereas its nationwide conference, which produced Senator Abdullahi Adamu and Senator Iyiola Omisore as nationwide chairman and nationwide secretary, respectively, was held in March 2022.
Nevertheless, indications have emerged that the tenure of the present Nationwide Working Committee (NWC), alongside these of the state, native authorities, and ward executives, could also be prolonged past the 2027 common election.
