Abia State authorities has accused the previous commissioner for Info, Okiyi Kalu, of stoking division between the governor, Alex Otti and President Bola Tinubu.
Chief press secretary to the governor Ukoha Njoku Ukoha made the allegation, yesterday, in a press assertion in Umuahia, the state capital, warning him to chorus from the motion.
“This ugly improvement exposes the so-called Abia opposition reckless desperation to undermine and destabilize the state and in extension, the South East.”
“The federal government views the divisive antics as a transparent manifestation of the opposition’s lack of concepts and incapability to articulate a reputable various imaginative and prescient for the state,” the assertion stated.
In accordance to the assertion, the federal government reaffirmed its dedication to the welfare and improvement of the state and the individuals and won’t be deterred by the antics in opposition to Otti and Tinubu.
”The governor is dedicated to proceed working intently with the federal authorities beneath President Tinubu’s management to drive progress and prosperity within the state.”
The assertion warned him and the opposition to desist from their motion because the individuals of the state is not going to be swayed by their determined makes an attempt to destabilize the state.
He subsequently, suggested: “All residents are hereby urged to stay vigilant and proceed to reject the Abia opposition’s poisonous politics.”
