Oyo State governor, Engr Seyi Makinde, has felicitated with Christians within the state and nationwide on the celebration of this 12 months’s Christmas, urging them to repeatedly reside in love and concord with each other and all their neighbours.
The governor acknowledged this in his Christmas message to the individuals of the state.
Governor Makinde burdened that Christmas is a season of affection, with Jesus Christ’s start because the essence of the pageant, thus tasking Christians to indicate like to others and reside at peace in step with the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ.
The governor counselled residents of the state to pay shut consideration to their surroundings as they go about celebrating, noting that securing the state stays a duty for the federal government and the individuals.
He charged them to report suspicious actions to safety companies by way of the Citizen Emergency Quantity, 615, saying that the precept, “In case you see one thing, say one thing” stays in drive.
