Vice President Kashim Shettima, on Sunday afternoon, arrived in Benue State to grace the marriage reception of the son of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator George Akume.
The solemnisation of the holy matrimony is between Samuel Aondoakura and Deborah Ershima, the daughter of Engineer Msula Atoga.
The Vice President, representing President Bola Tinubu on the event, was welcomed to the state by the SGF and the governor of Benue State, Dr. Hyacinth Alia, amongst different state authorities functionaries.
Upon arrival on the Air Power Base in Makurdi, he noticed a Guard of Honour mounted in his honour earlier than continuing to the venue of the occasion.
