Gombe-Led ADC Unveils Timetable For 2025/2026 Congresses

The faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by its nationwide chairman, Hon. Nafiu Bala Gombe, has launched a complete timetable and pointers for the conduct of its 2025/2026 congresses and nationwide conference.

The rules are contained in a round dated December 30, 2025, and issued by the get together’s nationwide secretariat, outlining a collection of actions aimed toward strengthening inner get together processes and making ready the get together for future electoral engagements.

In accordance with the doc, actions will begin with a gathering of the Board of Trustees (BoT) scheduled for January 5, 2026 adopted by a Nationwide Govt Committee (NEC) assembly on January 7, 2026.

The get together disclosed that membership registration and revalidation would maintain from January 2 to January 15, 2026, whereas ward congresses are scheduled for January 17. Points arising from the ward congresses can be addressed between January 19 and 22.

Native authorities congresses are slated for January 24, whereas state govt committee congresses will happen on January 31, 2026. Issues arising from the state congresses are to be handled between February 2 and 5, 2026.

The Nationwide Working Committee conference has been fastened for February 13 to fifteen, 2026.

In accordance with the rules, authorized delegates to the state congresses embody native authorities chairmen and secretaries, youth and girls leaders, state govt committee members, NEC members from the state, individuals with disabilities (PWD) leaders, ex-officio members, elected council chairmen and their deputies, Board of Trustees members, zonal nationwide officers, elected members of the Nationwide and State Assemblies, and authorized advisers.

The get together directed all states to represent Congress Planning Committees, noting that members of such committees should not be aspirants for any state govt place.
