President Bola Tinubu has despatched heartfelt congratulations to Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, governor of Kano State, on his 63rd birthday anniversary on Monday, January 5, 2026.
In an announcement by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga, on Sunday, the President highlighted Governor Yusuf’s integrity, modesty, humility and dedication to public service, exemplified in his administration of Kano State.
Yusuf was elected governor of Kano State in 2023 on the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) platform. He was beforehand the Commissioner for Works, Housing and Transport within the state from 2011 to 2015 through the administration of Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso.
