Edo State governor, Monday Okpebholo, has gifted three Authorities Home workers with model new Sports activities Utility Autos (SUVs) in recognition of their dedication, punctuality and exemplary service.
The governor disclosed this in a submit shared on his official Fb web page on Friday morning, noting that the gesture was his manner of appreciating the arduous work and dedication of public servants who go above and past their duties.
In response to Okpebholo, the choice to reward the workers got here after observing their constant diligence and integrity in service.
“At present, I made a decision to shock a few of our hardworking Authorities Home workers and belief me, luck met preparation,” he wrote.
“I seen how they arrive early, shut late and by no means minimize corners, so I pretended to delay simply to see who would run away early. Fortunately, no person missed their blessing.”
The governor defined that the rewards have been meant to encourage different workers to stay dedicated to excellence within the discharge of their duties.
“I rewarded three excellent workers with model new SUVs as a result of arduous work have to be seen and appreciated,” Okpebholo stated.
“If you serve Edo State with self-discipline, dedication and integrity, somebody is watching. Sure, even the Governor.”
He described the gesture as a “little manner” of claiming thanks to devoted staff whereas reaffirming his administration’s dedication to recognizing and selling excellence in public service.
“We’re right here to serve Edo individuals and excellence will at all times be rewarded. A New Edo Has Risen,” the governor added.
