My Father Was Obasanjo’s Personal Pilot — Mr Eazi

Popular Nigerian singer, Mr Eazi, has shared details about his childhood, revealing that his father was a personal pilot to former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

The singer, whose real name is Oluwatosin Ajibade, spoke in a viral video about growing up around influential people. He explained that his father served as a military pilot for many years before flying for billionaire Mike Adenuga and later for President Obasanjo.

Mr Eazi recalled visiting Obasanjo’s farm as a young boy. He shared a funny memory of how the former president would give him gifts like fresh fish or chicken, but he would ask for money instead.

“I would go to the farm, and he would give me big fish or chicken. I was like, you are the President, give me money,” he stated.

He noted that watching his father fly inspired him to work hard and seek his own freedom. According to him, his father retired only recently, in November 2025.
