“I Will Contest Against You in 2027” — Echocho Dares Gov. Ododo After APC Primary Fallout

The political atmosphere in Kogi State appears to be heating up ahead of the 2027 elections following fresh tension within the All Progressives Congress (APC) after the party’s senatorial primaries.

Kogi East Senator, Jibrin Isah, popularly known as Echocho, has reportedly thrown a direct challenge at Ahmed Usman Ododo after losing out in the APC primary process.

In a video circulating on social media, the senator allegedly claimed that the election was manipulated in favour of the alleged preferred candidate of Governor Ododo.

Echocho further declared that he would contest against the governor in 2027, insisting that the political battle line had now been drawn following the outcome of the primary election.
