Kehinde Bankole has expressed strong concerns over the worsening insecurity situation in the country, calling for immediate and decisive action from authorities.
In her Instagram post, the actress who played the role of Funmilayo Ransome Kuti in a movie with the same title said that, regardless of differing opinions about the nature of the incidents, what matters most now is saving lives and addressing the growing fear among citizens.
She urged key security bodies, including the Office of the National Security Adviser, the Presidency, the DSS, the Ministry of Defence, and other agencies, to work together more effectively to tackle the crisis.
Kehinde Bankole stressed that Nigerians are tired of repeated condolence messages and want concrete results, adding that insecurity should no longer be treated as a “new normal,” especially with children and families constantly living in fear.
She concluded by calling for all relevant security institutions to be fully activated and for urgent, coordinated action to restore safety across the country.
