Tinubu’s 3 Years In Office Transformational – Kogi Central Aspirant

A frontline aspirant for the Kogi Central Senatorial seat on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Momoh Obaro, has celebrated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his third anniversary in office.

Obaro, who also serves as the APC secretary in the United Kingdom (UK), commended President Tinubu for what he described as his transformational leadership, noting that the last 36 months had demonstrated the president’s commitment to rebuilding and repositioning Nigeria.

The development economist said Tinubu had shown exceptional courage and political will in implementing critical reforms aimed at stabilising and revitalizing the nation’s economy.

“The journey of the last three years has proven that Nigeria is finally under the care of a master builder,” Obaro stated.

He highlighted key infrastructure projects under the administration to include the ongoing Coastal Highway and the proposed Badagry–Sokoto Super Highway, describing them as strategic investments that would have lasting impacts on economic growth and national development.

Obaro urged Nigerians to continue supporting and praying for the president, emphasising that sustainable development requires collective commitment and patience.

“Through thick and thin, Mr. President has demonstrated the political will to take difficult but necessary decisions to pull our economy back from the brink,” he said.

The APC chieftain also outlined some notable achievements of the Renewed Hope Agenda, including the granting of financial autonomy to the 774 local government councils across the country, which he said would ensure that resources meant for grassroots development reach the people directly.

He further praised the administration’s Student Loan Scheme through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), describing it as a landmark initiative that has expanded access to higher education for children from low-income families.

On economic reforms, Obaro noted that tax exemptions granted to small businesses with annual turnovers below ₦100 million, as well as relief measures for low-income earners, have provided much-needed support to entrepreneurs and vulnerable Nigerians.

Speaking on Kogi State’s economic prospects, he commended the ongoing Ajaokuta-Kaduna-Kano (AKK) Gas Pipeline Project, saying it has the potential to position Kogi Central as a strategic hub for industrial growth, enterprise, and investment.

“As we look forward to a more robust phase of growth, I urge the good people of Kogi Central and Nigerians as a whole to remain united, steadfast, and supportive of this administration. The foundation is solid, and the future is bright,” Obaro stated.

He congratulated President Tinubu on his third anniversary in office and expressed optimism that the administration would continue to deliver on its promises to Nigerians.
