BuildUp Network Africa is an entrepreneurship, technology, and leadership development hub founded under BuildUp Impact Foundation (BIF), a registered nonprofit headquartered in Abuja, Nigeria.
Their objective is to equip young Africans—particularly early-stage founders, tech enthusiasts and university students—with practical business skills, innovative thinking, mentorship, peer networks, and the infrastructure needed to launch and scale sustainable ventures across the continent.
The aim is to address the structural deficit in the ecosystem. Most universities offer little to no practical business or technology infrastructure, leaving graduates without the fundamentals needed to act on their ideas. Even upon graduation, thousands of founders across the continent are building in silos. Though talented and determined, they remain disconnected from the networks, mentorship, and strategic guidance needed to launch, grow, and scale.
BuildUp Network Africa solves this through a community-driven platform that delivers structured business education, tech and innovation programming, entrepreneurship challenges, peer accountability, and leadership development, meeting emerging founders where they are.
BNA trains and provides an active founder-launch ecosystem where members can validate ideas, access mentorship, connect with co-founders and collaborators, and take their first real steps toward building viable businesses and technology solutions.
Our model is accessible, scalable, and purpose-built for Africa’s realities. Through strategic partnerships, campus launchpad activations, and a growing network of young innovators across Nigeria, BuildUp Network Africa is building the continent’s most dynamic launchpad for the next generation of African founders.
