Bella Shmurda Breaks Down In Tears, Alleges $4m Property Scam

Nigerian singer, Abiola Akinbiyi,  popularly known as Bella Shmurda, has alleged that he was defrauded after paying $4 million for a property in Lagos that he later discovered was not legally owned by the seller.

The singer made the claim during an emotional Instagram Live session on Tuesday, where he broke down in tears while appealing for public support over the alleged fraud.

Speaking during the livestream, Bella Shmurda said he was devastated by the discovery and feared losing the money he had spent on the property.

“Nigeria, I need your help. I’m not doing okay right now. I spent $4 million of my own hard-earned money, only to find out I bought stolen property,” he said.

He further alleged that the individual who sold him the property disappeared after receiving the payment.

“And now the seller has disappeared. Please, help me. Someone step in. I’ve got nothing left,” he said.

Expressing his frustration, the singer added, “I worked for years for this. I can’t lose $4 million like that.”

Bella Shmurda, however, disclosed that he had engaged his legal team to investigate the transaction.

“I just contacted my lawyer for further investigation,” he said.

The singer did not reveal the identity of the alleged seller or provide details about the location or ownership history of the property during the livestream.
