Callum Turner’s Father Reportedly Misses Son’s Wedding to Dua Lipa, Attends Another Ceremony Instead

Callum Turner’s father, Laurence Coles, reportedly did not attend his son’s wedding to pop star Dua Lipa, attending another wedding in London on the same day instead.

According to The Sun, Coles was spotted at the wedding of Jamie Rae Keeble, daughter of Spandau Ballet drummer John Keeble, while Turner and Lipa celebrated their wedding in Sicily.

A source told the publication: “Laurence and Callum have been estranged over the years, but it was nonetheless strange that he was at a wedding on the same day his son got married.

“Laurence kept a low profile, but some people questioned the fact that he was at a wedding on the same day his son was marrying Dua.”

Turner, 36, has previously spoken about his distant relationship with his father, who moved to Australia shortly after he was born.

Speaking to The Evening Standard, the actor reflected on his upbringing, saying: “The thing I always found interesting in my childhood was, yeah, I was growing up on an estate, single mum, working-class, but then I also had all these colourful characters around. It wasn’t about navigating two worlds. There were three, four, five more.”

Neither Turner nor Coles has publicly commented on the report.
