Nigerian music executive Soso Soberekon has broken his silence following the online reactions that trailed Davido’s absence from his star-studded wedding in Warri, Delta State.
The entertainment promoter, who recently married his wife, Princess Ebiere, became a trending topic after fans noticed that Davido, a longtime friend and associate, was absent from the lavish ceremony.

Following the wedding, social media users questioned why the singer neither attended the event nor publicly celebrated Soso on social media.
The discussion intensified after media personality Ossai Ovie Success and former Big Brother Naija housemate DeeOne criticised Davido over his absence.
Soso responds
Reacting in a post shared on social media, Soso expressed gratitude to everyone who attended and celebrated the special day with him and his wife.
“My heart is overflowing with gratitude,” he wrote.
He described the wedding as everything they had hoped for, adding that it was filled with love, joy and unforgettable memories.
“No one speaks for me”
Addressing the ongoing controversy, Soso urged people to ignore negative comments surrounding the wedding.
“Please ignore every negativity as we embrace love here,” he wrote.
He added: “Finally, let me say this clearly: No one speaks for me. I speak for myself.”
