‎“He Bit Me On My Back” – Portable Reveals Why He Walked Out Of Ring As His Management Issues Apology

Controversial street singer Portable has opened up on his fight with actor Charles Okocha.

Charles Okocha won over Portable at their boxing rematch at the Lagos Balmoral Convention Centre yesterday. Portable went against the rules of wrestling by taking punches instead of takedowns and walked out of the ring, earning him a disqualification and making Charles the winner.

Speaking out in a video, he shared on his Instagram page, he claimed that the actor bit him on his back and locked his neck tightly during the match. He noted that he is a star and shouldn’t be engaging in such a match.

Portable also noted that their match is a celebrity fight, not a street fight. He also pointed out that the organisers had promised to take him to London for training, but had taken only Charles.

“The reason I stopped fighting was that Charles Okocha bit me. He locked my neck tightly during the boxing match. It’s a celebrity fight, not a street fight. They promised to take me to London for training, but they took Charles Okocha”.

Portable’s management released a statement apologising to the organisers of the boxing match and asking that Portable’s decision and perspective be respected.

His management took full responsibility for the disappointment and expressed gratitude for the unwavering love and support shown to him throughout his journey.
