‎Don Momoh’s Wife Coach Lara Dies Two Weeks After Welcoming First Child

‎Coach Lara Kudayisi, the wife of Teddy Don-Momoh, has died barely two weeks after welcoming their first child together.

‎The sad news was announced by her family in a statement shared on her official Instagram page.

‎According to the statement, Lara died peacefully after a brief illness.

‎“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Lara Kudayisi Don-Momoh,” the family said.

‎“After a brief illness, Coach Lara passed away peacefully.”

‎The family appealed for privacy as they mourned her passing, while requesting prayers for the repose of her soul and strength to cope with the loss.

‎“During this deeply painful time, we humbly ask for privacy and prayers for the peaceful repose of her soul, and for all who mourn this immeasurable loss,” the statement added.

‎The family also disclosed that details of her funeral arrangements would be communicated at a later date.

‎“Further details regarding the funeral arrangements and other family matters will be communicated in due course,” the statement read.

‎Lara’s death comes just weeks after she and Teddy Don-Momoh welcomed their first child together, a moment that had been celebrated by family, friends and well-wishers on social media.

‎Teddy Don-Momoh was previously married to renowned gospel singer Kefee, who died in June 2014 after battling a lung-related illness.

‎The Don-Momoh family expressed gratitude to those who have shown support since the announcement.

‎“We sincerely thank everyone for the love, support, prayers, and understanding extended to the family during this difficult time,” the statement concluded.
