The Interim National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Kabiru Turaki, has congratulated former Vice President Mohammed Namadi Sambo on his 72nd birthday, describing him as a distinguished statesman whose life has been defined by humility, patriotism and selfless service to Nigeria.

In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, Turaki praised Sambo’s contributions to national development, saying his exemplary leadership continues to earn him admiration and respect across the country.

He noted that Sambo served Nigeria with distinction, first as Governor of Kaduna State and later as Vice President, where he worked alongside former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan to advance democratic governance, expand infrastructure and implement policies aimed at improving the lives of Nigerians.

Turaki also commended Sambo’s loyalty to the PDP, describing him as a committed party stalwart whose wisdom, calm disposition and leadership have continued to inspire members of the party and Nigerians across political, ethnic and religious divides.

“As a loyal and steadfast member of our great party, you have remained committed to the ideals and vision of the Peoples Democratic Party. Your unwavering dedication, wisdom, calm demeanor and exemplary leadership have continued to inspire party members and Nigerians,” he said.

The PDP chairman prayed for Allah to grant the former vice president continued good health, strength, peace and many more years of purposeful service to Nigeria and humanity.

He joined Sambo’s family, friends and associates in celebrating the former vice president, wishing him abundant grace and wisdom as he marks his 72nd birthday.
