Kwara Community Praises Tinubu, AbdulRazaq Over New Military Barracks

The Omu-Aran Development Association (ODA) has applauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kwara State governor, Alhaji AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, over the approval and siting of a new military barrack in Omu-Aran, Irepodun local government area.

The group’s president, Prince Niyi Adeyeye, said the landmark decision was a clear demonstration of the federal government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening national security and addressing the security challenges facing Kwara South.

Adeyeye said the establishment of the barracks would enhance the safety of life and property, promote peace and stimulate socioeconomic development across the region.

In statement it issued yesterday to journalists, ODA particularly commended Governor AbdulRazaq for his steadfast collaboration with the federal government in ensuring the security and wellbeing of the people of Kwara South and Kwara State as a whole.

It applauded the Olomu of Omu- Aran, Oba AbdulRaheem Oladele Adeoti for his visionary leadership, dedication, and relentless efforts toward safeguarding the Omu-Aran community and neighbouring communities.

“I am deeply grateful to my Lord Bishop, Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, for his invaluable support and contributions toward facilitating the approval of this military barracks. I am also using this opportunity to appreciate the member representing Ekiti/Isin/Irepodun/Oke-Ero Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon.Tunji Ajuloopin and the chairman of Irepodun local government area, Hon. Abdulazeez Tinuola for the support and collaborative efforts in this regard.

“The security of lives and property remains the foremost responsibility of every responsible government. This approval is a testament to the fact that the Federal Government, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is committed to fulfilling that sacred responsibility,” the statement added.
