Prophet Itunu Onadeko, the fiancé of the late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba, has stated that she passed away at a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Speaking in an interview on Saturday, Onadeko dismissed claims that her death was caused by breast cancer, poisoning, or maltreatment. He explained that a stranger called him around midnight to inform him that she had died at the station. He added that although he did not know the exact location of the incident, he subsequently reported himself to a nearby police station.
Onadeko, who serves as the Shepherd-in-Charge of CCC Onibuore Cathedral in Ibeju-Lekki, denied rumours that he used money donated for Osoba’s cancer surgery to build his church. He maintained that the funds were sent directly to her personal account and that his church had been built long before they met.
Addressing other allegations, he stated that Osoba drove her own vehicle, denied that she ingested poison, and rejected claims that she was abused. He noted that she had left his church about three weeks before her death.
The late actress passed away on Wednesday at the age of 40. Her family has fixed her burial for Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Iperu Remo, Ogun State.
