Kaduna ADC Candidate, Ashiru, Picks Campaign Team

The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kaduna state, Isa Ashiru, has approved key appointments into his campaign organisation.

In a statement issued by Ashiru, on Tuesday, named John Markus Ayuba as the Director-General of the Campaign Organisation, Hon. Bashir Ibrahim Sakadadi is to serve as the Deputy while Mukhtar Lawal Baloni was appointed as the Secretary of the Campaign Organization.

Ashiru also appointed a Kaduna based journalist, Abdulwaheed Olayinka Adubi, as campaign spokesman.

According to the statement, the appointment was to strengthen preparations for the 2027 gubernatorial elections in the state.

The statement said the appointments reflect Ashiru’s commitment to an inclusive and result-oriented campaign structure.

Parts of the statement read “ The appointments are expected to deepen grassroots mobilisation, and to enhance coordination across the 23 Local Government Areas of the state. Other appointees are: Mr. Bulus Yohanna, (Protocol Officer), Mallam Ali Musa, (Special Adviser on New Media), Hon. Auwal B.Z, (Assistant on New Media – Facebook), and Salim Tahiris is to serve as the Special Assistant on New Media (Facebook) / Personal Assistant”

Ashiru expressed confidence that the appointees would bring their wealth of political experiences, leadership capacity and commitment to achieving victory for the ADC in the scheduled 2027 general elections in the state.
