Benue State governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has advised the youth to adopt healthy habits and always strive to avoid acts that could cause public disorder and plunge the state into civil strife.
The governor stated that the voices of Benue youths had significantly contributed to shaping governance, digital transformation and progress in the state and beyond.
Alia, who praised them as the world marks International Youth Day, yesterday, described Benue youths as vibrant and resilient, “As the proud Food Basket of the Nation, Benue’s greatest harvest is not just from the soil, but in the boundless energy, creativity and strength of her young people”
In a statement issued by the his chief press secretary, Sir Tersoo Kula, Alia said, “From the hardworking farmers and tech innovators, to the creatives and athletes, the diverse paths of Benue youths unite in a common aspiration for a greater future.”
The governor further charged them to keep rising above every challenge with courage and unity as their voices carry the hope of a peaceful, inclusive and prosperous Benue on their shoulders.
