2027: Let’s Work Together For A Repeat Of 2015 Electoral Outcome, Reps Minority Caucus

Ahead of the 2027 general election, the Minority Caucus in the House of Representatives, has called on opposition leaders in the country to work together so as to repeat the 2015 electoral outcome in which the merger opposition All Progressives Congress (APC) trumped then ruling Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).

Minority Leader of the House, Hon. Fred Agbedi(PDP, Bayelsa) made the call at the first Summit of Opposition Political Parties, holding at the Shehu Yar’Adua Centre in Abuja.

Agbedi said all that is required to achieve the feat in 2027 polls is unity of purpose, adding that all leaders of the opposition parties must endeavour to attend gatherings such as the parley.

Leader of the opposition lawmakers noted that Nigeria, has a president who believes that all is fair in politics and charged participants to take note of such disposition and act accordingly.
