Disney’s ‘Zombies’ Star Carla Jeffery Dies at 33

Carla Jeffery, best known for playing Bree in Disney’s “Zombies” franchise, has died at the age of 33. Her talent agency, Alexanders Talent Management, confirmed the news on Tuesday in an emotional tribute posted to Instagram.

The agency said their “hearts are broken” over the loss, recalling that Jeffery had been part of the Alexanders family for more than 20 years. They described watching her grow “from a talented young girl into the beautiful, vibrant woman and actress she became” as “an incredible privilege.”

The statement went on to say Jeffery would be remembered for her “infectious smile,” her laughter, her talent, and “the beautiful light she carried everywhere she went.”

The agency closed by extending its “deepest love and condolences” to her family and loved ones, writing: “Rest beautifully, Carla. You will be deeply missed and forever loved.”

Jeffery’s cause of death has not been disclosed.

The actress rose to fame playing Bree in Disney Channel’s 2018 hit “Zombies,” starring alongside Milo Manheim as Zed, Meg Donnelly as Addison, Trevor Tordjman as Bucky and Kylee Russell as Eliza.

She went on to reprise the role in both sequels, “Zombies 2” in 2020 and “Zombies 3,” which was released in 2023, cementing her place within one of Disney’s most popular franchises of the era.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
