Gwarzo Congratulates Shettima At 60

The President of MAAUN Group of Universities, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo, has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 60th birthday.

In a statement marking the occasion, Gwarzo acknowledged Shettima’s career in both the private and public sectors, from banking to his service as Commissioner, Governor of Borno State, Senator and Vice President.

He said Shettima’s experience in different areas of public service had prepared him for the responsibilities he currently holds as Vice President.

Gwarzo also described the milestone as significant, given Shettima’s years in public service and his various responsibilities at the state and federal levels.

“Attaining the age of 60 is a remarkable milestone, particularly when viewed against the background of your career and contributions to the development of our dear country,” he said.

Gwarzo, on behalf of his family and the university community, wished the Vice President good health, wisdom and many more years in the service of Nigeria.

He also prayed for Allah’s continued guidance and strength for Shettima as he carries out his responsibilities.
