SSANIP Urges Federal Govt To Honour Agreement With Polytechnics

The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Polytechnics (SSANIP) has urged the Federal Government to immediately implement the agreement reached with the Yayale renegotiation committee it constituted.

The National President of the association, Comrade Adebanjo Ogunsipe Philips, made the appeal in a statement issued at the end of its meeting in Abuja.

He commended members of SSANIP nationwide for their patience, maturity, and unwavering support throughout the negotiation process.

Comrade Adebanjo also appreciated the Federal Government for its commitment to the welfare of Senior Staff in Polytechnics and Colleges of Technology by constituting the committee.

The Association also acknowledged the Chairman and members of the Yayale Committee for their professionalism and dedication to industrial harmony.

The National president said SSANIP respectfully and urgently calls on the Federal Government to commence immediate implementation of all aspects of the agreement without further delay.

Comrade Adebanjo reaffirmed the Union’s commitment to partnering with the Government to ensure the continued growth and stability of Nigeria’s Polytechnic Sector.

He also assured all members that NEC will closely monitor the implementation process and provide regular updates and details of the agreements at its upcoming NEC meeting.
