Nollywood actress Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has revealed that she could have become a billionaire through politics but chose to turn down opportunities that would have compromised her principles.
The veteran actress made the statement while reflecting on her financial ambitions, political opportunities and the values that guide her decisions.
According to Omotola, she has been presented with opportunities through political connections that could have made her extremely wealthy, but she deliberately chose not to pursue them because of the compromises she believed they would require.

“I tell people that if I wanted to be a billionaire, I could have been one easily. I’ve been offered that opportunity through politics, but I chose not to take it because it would compromise my principles.”
