The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has formally listed Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the incumbent senator representing Kwara Central, Saliu Mustapha, among candidates for the 2027 Kwara Central senatorial election.
According to the list published by INEC, AbdulRazaq is the APC candidate, while Mustapha is flying the flag of the PDP.
Other candidates listed for the election are Adesola Kehinde of the Action Alliance (AA), Gani Omolabi of the Action Democratic Party (ADP), Gbadesogun Olufemi Adeleke of the African Peoples Party (APP), Abdullahi Risikat Motunrayo of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Anjorin John Temitayo of the Action Peoples Movement (APM), Abdulkarim-Adisa Maryam Ayoola-Fadekemi of the Labour Party (LP), Adefolu Adekunle of the National Rescue Movement (NRM), Lawal Abdulhakeem Toyin of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), and Suleiman Abdulrasheed Olufemi Omoda of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
