Cindy Crawford’s Son Presley Gerber Dies At 27

Presley Gerber, the son of supermodel Cindy Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, has died at the age of 27.

Gerber died on Sunday, September 20, at a rehabilitation facility, according to records from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner. His cause of death has not been disclosed, and an autopsy is pending.

A representative for Crawford, Rande Gerber and Gerber’s younger sister, model and actress Kaia Gerber, confirmed his death and appealed for privacy.

“The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time,” the representative said.

Born in Beverly Hills, California, in 1999, Gerber followed his mother into modelling and began working professionally as a teenager. He was signed by IMG Models at 15 and later appeared in campaigns and runway shows for major fashion brands, including Calvin Klein and Dolce & Gabbana.

He also appeared alongside Crawford in a recreation of her famous Pepsi commercial during the 2018 Super Bowl.

In recent years, Gerber spoke publicly about his experiences with depression, substance use and recovery. He used his social media platforms to encourage conversations about mental health and launched a series known as “Mental Health Mondays”.

In a podcast appearance, Gerber described mental health as a major part of his life and said he hoped sharing his experiences could help others facing similar difficulties.

His sister Kaia also spoke about his struggles in a recent interview with Vogue, describing their impact on the family.

Gerber’s death comes as his family has asked the public to respect their privacy while authorities work to establish the circumstances surrounding his passing.
