KSA’s Daughter Damilola Breaks Silence: “I Never Knew Pain Till I Lived With My Father”

A woman identifying herself as Damilola, who describes herself as a daughter of Juju legend King Sunny Ade, has made a series of allegations against him in an emotional Instagram video posted 21 September. Her claims have not been independently verified.

She alleged that her family went without food, school fees and other basics despite her father’s steady income from live performances, and claimed she and half-siblings were sometimes left waiting at his shows overnight, hungry, with nothing available at home. Addressing him directly in the video, she said she’d never known real pain until living under his roof.

She also alleged that some siblings in Nigeria remain without financial support from him. Damilola, who says she is 21, based in the UK and cares for her mother, said she had raised these concerns privately for years and described this video as only “part one” of further claims to come.

She said she was not seeking money now, only accountability for the past.

King Sunny Ade had not responded to these specific claims at the time of filing. He has previously denied unrelated allegations Damilola made about him in 2025.
